The Delhi University Exam (DU Exam) is a centralized exam conducted by the University of Delhi for admission to its undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The exam is typically held in the months of May-June and December-January.
Exam Pattern
The DU Exam is a written exam that consists of two parts:
- Part I: This part is a general aptitude test that tests the candidate’s knowledge of English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge.
- Part II: This part is a subject-specific test that tests the candidate’s knowledge of the subject(s) that they have chosen to apply for.
Marking Scheme:
- 100 marks for each part
- Total marks in both parts used to rank candidates and allocate seats
Eligibility
To be eligible for the DU Exam, candidates must have passed Class 12 from a recognized board with at least 50% marks in aggregate. Reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC) are eligible for a relaxation of 5% in the minimum marks requirement.

- CUET scorecard: normalized score that takes into account candidate’s performance in CUET exam and Class 12 marks
